After teasing Indonesian consumers with a pre-order period last week, Tecno has officially launched its newest phone, the Tecno Pova 8 5G, in Indonesia.

Anthoni Roderick, Public Relations Manager at Tecno Indonesia, explained that the Pova 8 5G is built around solid performance and long-lasting battery life.
“The Tecno Pova 8 5G comes with an 8,000mAh battery that can last up to two days, reliable performance, and more stable connectivity. Combined with the iconic Alive Matrix Display, the Pova 8 5G strikes a balance between durability, performance, and self-expression in a single device,” Roderick said while introducing the device at Spectrum Studio, Jakarta, on Wednesday (July 15, 2026).
He added that one of the phone’s unique design touches is the Alive Matrix Display, located around the rear camera lens area. This feature is essentially a customizable LED panel that can display various notifications, fully personalized by the user.
